Day 82: Duncannon? More like Nofuncannon.

Mile 1151.2: Clark's Ferry Shelter.

Today was a supremely uninteresting day with close to five miles of town (road) walking.

I spent last night falling asleep to the sound of Stevie and Cheyanne making fart noises on some app on their phones. Very mature, I know.

In the morning we did a quick eight miles into Duncannon, PA, where we spent most of the day hanging out at not one, not two, but three different gas stations.

I also visited the Doyle Hotel, notorious for being the worst/grossest place to stay on trail, to buy a fuel canister.

Duncannon was a weird place, it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be an old run down east coast town or a massive truck stop so it just decided to be both.

Old vending machines.

On the way out of town we crossed over the Susquehanna River. It was huge and smelled bad.

Now I'm going to drift off as patriots in nearby towns shoot fireworks into oblivion all night.
